1. How to connect to the Astral databases? |

Since February 2012, the Astral databases work with a new login system. For your identification, please enter your e-mail address instead of your client number (illustration 1).
If you have several accounts, your client account might still be required (illustration 2).
E-mail :
For your identification, please use the e-mail address communicated when subscribing to the database and which we recently confirmed through postal mail.
Password :
With the new login system your password is unchanged. If you have lost or forgotten your password, please use this form to request a new one.
Client account :
For clients with several accounts a further window will open. You have to select the account to be used.

2. I use the portal "Exclusive Access" |

You use Exclusive Access?
Exclusive Access offers a very simple and direct way to connect to the Astral databases. You only click on the tab Databases and choose one of your subscriptions.

3. I don’t know my login-data |
 |
You have been sent your login-data through postal mail. If you did not receive it or have lost it, please contact us by e-mail (contact@astral.ch) or telephone +41 22 7189640 (9h00-12h00 ; 14h00- 17h00).
The following hints might help you to get your login-data:
E-mail :
Try to login with the e-mail address which is used for your monthly Epidemiological News.
Password :
With the new login system your password is unchanged. You can still use it. If you have lost or forgotten your password, please use this form for the recovery of your password.
Client account :
Your client number is unchanged. If appropriate, please use your previous client number.

4. I have lost/forgotten my password. How do I proceed? |

- Enter the electronic address associated with your Astral account and the characters that you see in the image.
- Then click on “Continue”.
- You will instantly receive a link by e-mail to a webpage on which you can easily generate a new password. The e-mail is sent to the address Astral uses for the electronic correspondence (this address can be changed via this form).
If you have forgotten this e-mail address please contact our Client service.
- After clicking the link you received, please enter your new password and confirm it in the relevant field, then confirm your entry. Your new password is directly taken into account.

The current e-mail address is not correct or obsolete. Is it possible to change it? |
 |
The e-mail address indicated at subscription is very important because it is your identifier for the connection to Astral databases. Astral also uses this address for all communication with you (recovery procedure if you lose or forget your password, monthly epidemiological news, etc.).
If the currently used e-mail address is not correct or obsolete, you can ask Astral to change your e-mail identifier via this form.
We have to confirm the modification of the e-mail before it becomes effective. This usually takes 24 h (working day). You will receive a confirmation e-mail once the modification has been processed.
